#MCM: Supernatural’s Jensen Ackles
Father, husband, entrepreneur and Dean Winchester. These are just a few of the reasons why Jensen Ackles is our #ManCrushMonday this week.
Jensen Ackles has been on our screens for the last 13years as Dean Winchester. One half of the expert hunting team. In his real life, he’s a husband, devoted father, and entrepreneur. Watching him in interviews, he seems like he’s a really down-to-Earth, humble, guy. Let’s take a minute today and look at why Jensen, not Dean, is our #ManCrushMonday.
Entrepreneur
This year, Jensen, along with his wife Danneel and his brother-in-law, opened Family Business Brewing Company in Austin, Texas. The brewing company has helped achieve a dream for Jensen, and if you follow him on Instagram, when he’s home, he’s enjoying being there. The brewery is also kid friendly! Which would make sense since Jensen and Danneel are parents, they would want to accommodate other parents. How many breweries can you name that have a fully contained, well lit, outdoor play place for children?

Charitable
Last August when Hurricane Harvey hit Austin, Jensen jumped into action and organized a fundraiser to help victims of the hurricane. Even though Family Business wasn’t even open yet, it teamed up with Misha Collins’ charity, Random Acts, and began to raise money for hurricane relief. Jensen wasn’t shy when making his rounds with the press that it was important to him to help his hometown recover from the devastating damage it took in this natural disaster. The campaign ended up raising hundreds of thousands of dollars, and being really beneficial to the relief effort.
Father and husband
Jensen is the father to three small children, and he is completely devoted to his kids when he’s not filming Supernatural. He’s not only a devoted father; he’s a devoted husband. He and Danneel have been married for eight years and are going strong. Just follow him on Instagram and you can see how much he loves his family. Which is why when he explained during San Diego Comic-Con that the reason we were getting fewer episodes during Season 14 is so he and Jared could spend more time with their families, it made sense. Supernatural films in Canada, Jensen and his family live in Austin, TX. Of course, Jensen is going to make a decision to help spend more time with his growing family. Children are only little once, and time moves quickly.
