Maci Bookout stays silent after learning of Ryan and Mackenzie’s decision

Maci Bookout has remained silent after the news that Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie are leaving Teen Mom OG behind this year.

Maci Bookout may have known that Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Edwards were planning on leaving Teen Mom OG behind for this season. They have been filming the new season for a while, but it sounds like Ryan and Mackenzie wanted more than what MTV was willing to give. In a recent interview, Mackenzie revealed that MTV didn’t want to feature a recovering drug addict once again, as that seemed to be a continuous storyline. But they did want to feature the unborn baby, including how they could film at Ryan’s parent’s place so it looked like they cared for the baby.

Needless to say, Ryan and Mackenzie decided to pull the plug on the deal. They weren’t too happy with the offer they were getting, so they announced that they would not be filming this upcoming season of Teen Mom OG. They simply said season, which means they could make a return to the show when they can be featured more.

Perhaps Maci Bookout wants to keep her co-parenting relationship with Ryan positive, as she hasn’t said anything publicly about Ryan. It should be mentioned that just days after they announced the news, Ryan was arrested for violating his probation.

Several news outlets are indicating that he may have relapsed. Maci Bookout has been firm with Ryan in regards to Bentley, saying that he can see his son when he’s sober. This all played out on MTV last year, but Maci was later threatened by Ryan as the show wrapped.
