#MCM: Supernatural’s Jared Padalecki
It’s Monday again, so that means it’s #ManCrushMonday! This week we’re going to highlight all the ways Jared Padalecki makes us swoon.
Jared Padalecki is one of the leading men on Supernatural. He has played Sam Winchester for 13 years. However, let’s take a look at him as a person, not as his character. See who he is outside of Supernatural and why he is this week’s #ManCrushMonday.
Always keep fighting
Jared has been very open about his fight with depression. He talks about it at conventions. and in interviews. He wants fans to know that they are not alone. That life can get better, that they can get through whatever struggle they are facing. That’s why he started “Always Keep Fighting.” He sells t-shirts with the phrase on it, raising money for charitable organizations. It’s his way of looking out for the well being of the SPN Family, and showing his gratitude for all they have done for him.

Charitable
In addition to his Always Keep Fighting campaign, Jared has participated in many charitable opportunities throughout the years. Most recently he teamed up with Jensen Ackles’ Family Business and Misha Collins’ Random Acts to raise money for victims of Hurricane Harvey, which devastated Austin, TX last year. The castmates’ efforts paid off. They were able to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for relief efforts.

Husband and father
Jared is married to former co-star Genevieve Padalecki (Ruby) and together they have three children. Jared is absolutely devoted to them, as evidenced by both his and Gen’s Instagram feeds. And you can tell how much he loves spending time with his family by the way he and Jensen negotiated for the upcoming Season 14. In order to keep doing the show and spend more time with their families, they decided to scale back the season by a couple episodes. Which is fine. We all want our boys to be happy.
