Briana DeJesus’ overprotective mother is starting to get to fans

Briana DeJesus may love her mother but fans are growing tired of her overprotective attitude and the way she interferes in her life.

Briana DeJesus decided that she wanted to get a surgery done after her daughter Stella was born. She worked out an agreement with Dr. Miami to fix her postpartum body and she documented parts of the journey on Teen Mom 2. While she and Javi Marroquin had agreed that he would be caring for her after the surgery, it sounds like their relationship hit a snag. Despite being broken up, he stuck to his word and he was there for her.

But apparently, Briana DeJesus’ mother Roxanne wasn’t happy about it. She decided to drive down to Miami with Briana’s sister Brittany and Devoin, who had been helping out with the kids. Roxanne had a confrontation with Javi, telling him that she felt he was manipulating Briana and only doing things because they were being documented for Teen Mom 2. While many were thrilled that she was speaking out on Briana’s behalf, telling Javi what people were thinking, others thought she was a bit overbearing.

The reality is that Briana DeJesus is a grown woman and should be able to take care of her business. Her mother should have stayed neutral in the situation, trusting that her daughter is capable of making her own decisions when it comes to her love life.

While Briana DeJesus was recovering from the surgery that was supposed to make her a sexy mom, her mother couldn’t let go of the notion that perhaps Briana was in love with Javi and had a hard time saying no to him.
