At what point is Hollywood going to stop the reboot nonsense? Does there really need to be a third version of Charlie’s Angels?

Regardless of opposing opinion on the subject, Charlie’s Angels is not the same as some other long-standing spy franchises. The three ladies don’t equal a single James Bond. Including George Lazenby. Therefore, this is not a continuation of the series. It’s a reboot. In fact, it’s a reboot of a reboot.

Let’s be honest. The reboot thing is getting tiresome. So, if the movie or show seeing a second or third go-around isn’t a long standing series expecting continuation, then why reboot?

One good reason to reboot is if everyone loved the previous version and constantly reminisces. That’s clearly not happening with Charlie’s Angels. Additionally, a reboot might be a solid idea if there is more to the story to tell. For instance, who wouldn’t watch a sequel or reboot of The Breakfast Club? Again, this doesn’t apply to Charlie’s Angels. Long story short, nobody really wants to see yet another Charlie’s Angels.
