Big Brother 20 returns with an August 5 episode on CBS. This is going to be a big night for the BB20 cast, as it’s time for producers to cover the first 24 hours that Angela Rummans served as the new Head of Household.

Episode 18 for Big Brother 20 debuts Sunday night on CBS. It’s a huge episode for the BB20 cast, as a lot has taken place since Angela Rummans became the HOH. At the end of the August 2 episode, Rachel Swindler got evicted and Angela won the HOH Competition. Over the next 48 hours, the house was full of activity, with part of it set to be revealed by producers in this episode.

Angela takes over

The beginning of the new Big Brother 20 episode will cover the fallout from Rachel getting evicted. There are going to be a lot of Diary Room sessions, showing the reactions of the houseguests after Rachel was sent packing. It was quite the coincidence that Angela, who was a big reason Rachel went home, ended up winning the HOH Competition.

The new episode of the show could also have a segment about the Hacker Competition. This took place following the Nomination Ceremony, but before they played for the Power of Veto. The Hacker twist is a big one, as the person that wins the title gets a lot of additional powers. Those power are going to get shared during the August 5 episode, presumably setting the stage for the BB20 cast to play the competition.

There is a lot for producers to cover during this one-hour installment, so it’s unclear what behind-the-scenes information will make the cut. It’s even possible that the Hacker Competition gets held back until the August 8 episode, but the Wednesday episodes usually focus on the Power of Veto and who ends up as the final nominees for eviction. Plus, showing the Hacker Competition on Sunday night will create a lot of buzz on social media, giving producers more incentive to reveal it right now.
