Supernatural Season 3, Episode 12 certainly had some funny lines. It also had some lines that show what those on the outside think of Sam and Dean Winchester. What are the best six lines from Jus in Bello?

“Jus in Bello” gave us Victor Henriksen again. This time, we got to see him directly opposite the Winchester brothers, seeing him truly in action. There was also a chance to see how he and Dean were very much alike, despite growing up differently and being on the opposite sides of the law. But what was really important about Supernatural Season 3, Episode 12 was the chance to see how others viewed Dean and Sam.

We’d got glimpses over the years, but it was Victor’s comment about how he viewed the brothers that stood out the most. You’ll get to see which line in the episode that was exactly in just a tick, along with the other five lines that stand out for various reasons. I know there’s one that is probably in your head right now.

The most dangerous criminals you’ve ever laid your eyeballs on. Think Hannibal Lecter and his half-wit little brother. Do you know what these guys do for kicks? Dig up graves and mutilate corpses. They’re not just killers, Sheriff. They’re Satan-worshipping, nutbag killers.

It’s not surprising that Henriksen things that the Winchesters are Satan-worshippers. What’s really ironic is that they try to stop the demons and the devil. However, they do dig up graves and technically mutilate corpses. It would be really fun to see what the caretaker of the cemeteries think when they see what’s left behind.

What I really want to know is why he views Sam as a half-wit? Clearly, he doesn’t realize that Sam is the book-smart one. Surely a bit of research to see that he did law at Stanford would have been enough to know that!

It’s like we got a contract on us. Think it’s because we’re so awesome? I think it’s ‘cause we’re so awesome.

Eventually, we find out why the demons were surrounding them, but this was an excellent episode to keep us guessing and wondering for a long time period. What I love about this line is it shows Dean continues to keep his defenses up but you can tell he’s worried.

But you didn’t shoot the deputy.

This directly followed the line “I shot the sheriff” and you just knew you wanted someone to say this line afterward. Of course, Dean was on everyone else’s wavelength. Now was this scripted or did Jensen Ackles throw it in? Of course, this lines comes up again in the future.

I’ve been busting my ass for 15 years to nail a handful of guys and all this while, there’s something off in the corner so big. So yeah… sign me up for that big, frosty mug of wasting my damn life.

Within one episode we get all this character development and potential for Henriksen. It was clear back in Supernatural Season 3 that some of the best characters were never going to stick around for too long. I would have loved to see Henriksen as a hunter, fighting by the Winchesters’ side. What could have been had Lilith not killed him at the end of this episode?

Does anyone have a breath mint? Some guts splattered in my mouth while I was killing my way in here.

Ruby’s attitude was certainly awesome. It was hard to see which side she was really on. At times it was like she really didn’t care. This episode should have been a huge sign which side Ruby was on. It was all in the way the demons let her back out.

When this is over, I’m gonna have so much sex. But not with you. We better move.

I felt so sorry for Nancy. She’s spent all this time waiting for marriage and she’d finally decided that it wasn’t worth it. And then looked at what happened to her. Her comment to Phil was funny though. I kind of felt sorry for him.
