Supernatural Season 3, Episode 13 kick-started the web series, Ghostfacers. Just which lines are the best from the episode?

Supernatural Season 3, Episode 13 brought back Ed and Harry. You remember, the two goofballs that nearly got Sam and Dean killed in “Hell House?” Well, the show brought them back in style, with even more goofballs that could lead to the deaths of the Winchesters. Of course, this would lead to the spin-off web series.

Before the web series took off, we got some excellent lines in a found footage-style episode. And yes, as you would expect, there was plenty of bleeped out swearing. If Supernatural was on Netflix or SYFY, I’d expect this sort of language from the Winchesters.

Here’s a look at the seven best lines from “Ghost…Ghostfacers.”

Uh, West Texas… the… the tulpa we had to take out. Those two goofballs that almost got us killed… The hellhounds or something?

Sam instantly remembers who the two are once he gets a good look at them. It’s clear that the two have left their mark, which isn’t surprising when they nearly died at the hands of a Tulpa. What was fun was seeing the connection be made, as they realize they’re in for a hell of a night.

It’s about as dangerous as a scary movie.

Dean explains what a death echo is to Spruce, as it’s clear that the Ghostfacers are scared of it. However, he ends the description of one with this brilliant comment. Mind you, I did start to wonder if scary movies could be dangerous in the world of Supernatural. You just never know!

‘Let’s go hunt the Morton house,’ you said, ‘it’s our Grand Canyon.’

Sam just couldn’t help himself. He knows they’re in an extremely dangerous situation and now they need to find a way to survive the night. What gets me is that Sam was annoyed at Dean. Had they been alone, they would have been fine. Maybe he should have been annoyed at the amateur ghost hunters.

All right, seriously, does looking at this nightmare through that camera make you feel better or something?

Bless, Maggie. She was actually my favorite out of the Ghostfacers, although I wouldn’t really want to hang out with any of them. Dean made me laugh with this line to her, though. We all knew what she was going to say.

Inside your duffel bag?

As stupid as the conversation sounded, it wasn’t that surprising. Adrenaline was running high, the fight or flight mechanism had kicked in, and nobody was thinking straight. Ed said this line–and I love that A.J. Buckley has now gone onto SEAL Team–and I couldn’t help but crack up. You could see him thinking it before he even said it.

A while ago, Sam… No. No. No. I’m not gonna whine about my [Bleep] problems to some [Bleep] reality show. I’m gonna do my [Bleep] job.

You know you just wanted Dean to actually come out with the story. Go on; you can admit it! Dean quickly caught what was going on. This wasn’t just a simple answer to give, there wasn’t the time for it, but it was easy to get caught up in believing answers were needed. Really, the importance of this and when Sam mentioned “two months” was to give us a timeline of the time left over.

Ed… You got to go be gay for that poor, dead intern. You got to send him into the light.

Finally, it’s Harry’s best line of the night. They realize that they need to get Corbett out of his death echo loop to get him “to the light” and they need someone close to him to do it. That means Ed going out of the salt circle to make that connection.
