The 100 Season 5 has come to an end. While it wrapped up the story involving McCreary and the fight over Shallow Valley, it left us with some major questions for the future. Let’s delve into the questions for potential answers.

We’re at that time of year. The 100 Season 5 finale has aired and now we’re left with lots of questions for the future. Fortunately, we’re definitely going to get the answers as a sixth season has been confirmed. However, this episode was beautifully set up as a series finale just in case. The small loose ends could easily have been left had it ended.

While we got a resolution for McCreary’s toddler tantrum over Shallow Valley, we were left with a lot of questions about the fate of the 500 or so passengers now in space. It’s time to delve into those questions for some potential answers.

As you would expect, there are spoilers in this from the finale. While we don’t know what’s going to happen in The 100 Season 6, it’s possible to make some suggestions.

5. Why didn’t Clarke and Bellamy know Harper and Monty remained awake?

More from CW

I’m surprised that Clarke and Bellamy went to sleep before everyone else did. They’ve always been the leaders and the ones to sacrifice happiness and humanity to make sure everyone else gets to hold onto it. I’m really surprised that they didn’t wait until everyone else was asleep before they went into it.

Of course, Monty and Harper are adults. They should be able to make this sort of decision if they wanted. While they initially thought it would only be 10 years, they’d admitted in the video that they chose this life. This was while they put their son into cryogenic sleep to look after him.

There’s also the chance that Bellamy and Clarke did wait. Harper and Monty could have set their chambers to wake them up sooner without anyone realizing–like right away after everyone else went to sleep. This would have made it look like they were waiting with everyone else.
