6. Avengers: Infinity War

Original Release Date: April 27, 2018

Box Office Earnings:  $257,698,183 (USA opening weekend), $678,472,493 (USA gross)

Critical Acclaim: So far, the movie has won three awards and been nominated for 14. Because of the timing of the release and writing this, there’s still time to win some of the big ones. Maybe Josh Brolin could get his second Oscar nomination.

About the Role: Does Josh Brolin need any introduction for Avengers: Infinity War? In fact, this wasn’t the first Avengers movie he showed up in. He got post-credit spots in a number of other movies, leading up to this one. He was…Thanos! Who else? The guy who destroyed the world with a click of his fingers. Literally.

Simply the Best: Wait, how does Avengers: Infinity War not make it into the top five? Well, you’ll understand when you see the other movies. This is a good movie and Brolin plays the perfect villain, but there are some movies that have stood the test of time. Will this one? We can only wait and find out.

However, it certainly belongs in the actor’s top 10 list. Who else could make Thanos so despicable but human at the same time?
