S4E4 – “Talk”

Cameo-ish: No new faces from the Breaking Bad stable of characters, but we get a good deal of time with the Salamanca brothers as Gus Fring’s devious plan to divide and conquer the cartel goes into action. The seeds have officially been planted for Gus to take over North American operations for the cartel as the Salamanca brothers prove themselves to be all brawn and no brains.

The Story: As Nacho sets up a rival gang by blaming them for the attack on himself and asphyxiated co-worker Arturo (Vincent Fuentes), the Salamanca brothers do what they do best. Guns blazing and suits shining, they take down an entire compound of dealers like it’s nbd. Gus’s machinations pay off as he’s not only eliminated potential competition in the area, but he also made the Salamancas unwittingly do his dirty work. That Gus is a smart one.
