And with September come many movies we’re eager to see. From action dramas, heartwarming stories, and one giant rock and roll party packed with nostalgia, Fall 2018 is looking to be a lot of fun.

Which fall movie are you most excited to check out? Here are our top eight:

More from Movies

The Predator

Premiere date: September 14
Cast: Yvonne Strahovski, Olivia Munn, Thomas Jane, Jacob Tremblay, Sterling K. Brown, Keegan-Michael Key, and more.

In the fourth installment in the Predator franchise, a young boy (Tremblay) triggers a signal that attracts the Predators back to Earth. And this time, they are stronger in every way. The Predators have genetically modified themselves with DNA from other species to become the universe’s most dangerous hunters.

A Simple Favor

Premiere date: September 14
Cast: Blake Lively, Anna Kendrick, Henry Golding, Rupert Friend, and Linda Cardellini.

There is so much mystery surrounding this movie!  Stephanie (Kendrick) is determined to learn the truth behind her friend Emily’s (Lively) disappearance. A Simple Favor is a thriller that promises twists, revelations, murder and revenge. What is Emily hiding, if anything? What is she running away from? Where did she go? The trailer gives us Gone Girl vibes, but there seems to be a lot more going on. It’s a very alluring trailer and we can’t wait to learn more!

Premiere date: October 5
Cast: Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Jenny Slate, and Woody Harrelson.

Okay, fine. We’ll be the first to admit the Venom trailer is not the best. In fact, it makes the movie seem kinda lame. Still, as part of Marvel, we need to give it a fair chance. It’s only fair. The anti-hero take may be successful, Deadpool was. Then again, Deadpool looked amazing from the beginning. The likelihood Venom surprises us is small, but we’d be lying if we said we weren’t at least a little excited for it.

A Star is Born

Premiere date: October 5
Cast: Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga

Bradley Cooper’s directorial debut and Lady Gaga’s first big film? Count us in! The trailer already makes our hearts warm, we can’t wait for this one. A Star is Born is a remake of the 1937 original and centers on Jackson (Cooper), a struggling country star who takes on Ally (Lady Gaga) as his protege.

Bad Times at the El Royale

Premiere date: October 12
Cast: Chris Hemsworth, Dakota Johnson, Jon Hamm, Jeff Bridges, and Lewis Pullman

If you’re into crime thrillers, Bad Times at El Royale is your new favorite! The movie, also starring Cailee Tahoe, Nick Offerman, and Cynthia Erivo, takes place at El Royale, an old hotel with a sinister past, and its guests are as mysterious as the hotel.

First Man

Premiere date: October 12
Cast: Ryan Gosling, Kyle Chandler, Jason Clarke, and Corey Stoll.

Sign us up for anything starring Ryan Gosling! First Man takes us back to 1961-1969, telling audiences the story of NASA’s mission to land a man on the moon, focusing on Neil Armstrong’s (Gosling) account.

Premiere date: October 19
Cast: Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, and Will Patton.

He’s ba-ack! And so is scream Queen Jamie Lee Curtis reprising her popular role as Laurie Strode! After decades, Strode is ready to face Michael Myers for the last time, hoping to put an end to his killing sprees.

Bohemian Rhapsody

Premiere date: November 2
Cast: Rami Malek, Lucy Boynton, Joseph Mazello, and Aidan Gillen.

Reboots, remakes, and biopics are Hollywood’s go-to movies. But while those can get tiring, we are so down for a Freddie Mercury biopic! Rami Malek takes the lead in Bohemian Rhapsody as the frontman for the legendary Queen. We’re all excited to celebrate one of the greatest bands of all time and feel all the nostalgia.
