There are a number of notable mentions for fans of all types of genres. When it comes to comedy, John Cleese is back with Hold the Sunset. When a widow finally gives into her old flame’s advances, her adult son moves back in. The son has left his wife and his job, making it an extremely awkward situation for all.

For those who love their drama, Bancroft is going to be the show to tune into. Game of Thrones Faye Marsay is a new recruit who starts to threaten the reputation of DS Elisabeth Bancroft, played by Broadchurch‘s Sarah Parish. How? It’s all to do with a cold case that brings Bancroft’s past to the present.

Another police drama to check out is WPC 56. Set in 1956, the story is of Gina Dawson, who is the first female police officer in her hometown. Gina looks innocent and naive because of her physical appearance, but she’s hiding brains, a good gut-feeling, and the willingness to use her sexuality to win.

Tudor history fans will also get something to entertain. Historian Lucy Worsley heads to Hampton Court with the legendary Tudor historian David Starkey, as they celebrate the 500th anniversary of the beautiful building. The episode will see the reenactment of Prince Edward Tudor’s (later Edward VI) coronation, the most splendid event held there.

Finally, there’s something for those who love British news and talk shows. This Morning: This Week is coming to BritBox. This is going to be an on-going weekly compilation of everything that has happened in the UK morning show, which turns 30 this year! Check out the cookery from cheeky Gino D’Acampo, the latest showbiz news, and plenty of celebrity interviews.
