Emily Osment shares Young & Hungry’s real ending
Emily Osment is now speaking out and sharing how Young & Hungry really ended. The viewers didn’t get to see it since the show wasn’t prepared for the ending.
When Young & Hungry came to an end, they didn’t know it was going to be over. Instead of tying everything up in a nice little bow, they ended up leaving viewers with a cliffhanger. Gabbi and Josh were finally doing great and it looked like they might get their happy ending, but she had an amazing job offer come up.
Now, Emily Osment, who played Gabbi on the show, is sharing how the show actually ended. They had plans for a Young & Hungry movie to finish it all up, but it turns out that Freeform isn’t going to do that either. The fans will never see if Josh was willing to follow Gabbi to Seattle for her job so they can still be together.

Emily is now sharing that in her eyes, Josh and Gabbi got their happy ending together. She went to her Twitter to share her thoughts. She said,
"“It breaks my heart to tell you that in addition to @FreeformTV not giving our Young & Hungry audience the ending our show deserved, they have ALSO decided to not go forward with a full length film. From me and my obvious future tv hubby @sadowski23 we love you and we’re sorry.”"

It would have been a lot better if the viewers could have seen a big two-hour TV wedding special. They would have gotten to see Gabbi finally get her happy ending with Josh. You know it would be hard for her to let anyone else do the cooking for her and making all of those decisions would have been hilariously chaotic. At least now everyone knows that Josh and Gabbi ended up together in the end on Young & Hungry according to Emily Osment.
