We know you can’t wait to watch Black Panther again (and again, and again). Get ready to journey back to Wakanda, because the Netflix release date is sooner than you think!

Netflix is currently home to three movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Doctor Strange, Thor: Ragnarok, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. We’re forever grateful Marvel still has a partnership with Netflix to be able to release films on the popular streaming service only months after they’ve hit theaters, making the movies more accessible to fans (and more likely to recruit new fans).

Disney will be launching their own streaming service next year, but until that time, Marvel films will continue to stream on Netflix right beside other MCU movies and tv series. Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, and Ant-Man and the Wasp will all be making their Netflix debut before the launch of Disney’s streaming platform, but starting with Captain Marvel, fans will need to subscribe to Disney’s service in order to stream the film online.

With a worldwide gross of over $1.3 billion, Black Panther is currently the ninth highest-grossing film of all time, and if for some crazy reason you haven’t been able to see the movie yet, you’d better mark your calendar for September 4.
