Acorn TV is loading up with popular international dramas, comedies, thrillers, and more. Here’s everything coming to the streaming service in September 2018.

Sometimes you want to see the international dramas from the likes of Britain and Australia. This is where Acorn TV is perfect. It brings the best dramas, comedies, thrillers, and so much more from around the world. That’s certainly the case for September 2018.

There are plenty of favorites making their way throughout the month, including new episodes of Australia’s answer to Downton AbbeyA Place to Call Home. The 1950s Australian series is airing the final chapter, wrapping up the stories and bringing all the heartwarming feelings along the way. Episodes are released weekly, with the first available at the end of August to make sure you have something to start the month just right.

For those who love thrillers, Jack Irish is back. Guy Pearce returns as the iconic antihero fro the late Peter Temple, this time in a six-part season. During this second season, Jack will stumble upon manipulative big Pharma companies and corrupt educational institutions. When a foreign student supposedly commits suicide, a chain of events is triggered that leads to Jack risking his own life to save others.

If you love Robson Green, you’ll certainly want to tun in for Wire in the Blood. The 2002 series’ first season will drop in full in September 2018 on Acorn TV. The rest of the series (there are six seasons in total) will be added over the next few weeks. Wire in the Blood follows Robson as a psychologist who delves into the minds of victims and killers to solve the most gruesome murders in Northern England.
