Everything we know about Narcos: Mexico on Netflix so far
Narcos: Mexico is giving us a look at a new cartel in a new place with new faces. Here’s what we know about the show so far.
Narcos is a show that had many people talking throughout the three seasons. The upcoming season has been dubbed Narcos: Mexico as the show plans to move away from Pablo Escobar and his associates. We’ll see a new crime lord ruling over a different cartel, but it looks like the show will still be just as good as it was before.
Narcos: Mexico is created and produced by Carlo Bernard and Doug Miro. Michael Peña and Diego Luna are set to be the two main stars of the show. Luna will play Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo, who is the leader of the Guadalajara Cartel. Peña will play DEA agent Kiki Camarena and he’ll go undercover in the series.
Netflix just announced a release date for the upcoming season and we’ll be able to binge it all on November 16, 2018. The date announcement video teases a bit of the show, as well. We see both Luna and Peña’s characters in action and this will be one of the must-watch shows this fall.
Back in July, we saw a first look at the main characters. Narcos: Mexico is an all-new story that will bring us new twists and turns as the U.S. tries to bring foreign criminals to justice in foreign territory. There’s bound to be plenty of excitement as we get closer to the release date for the show. With the date announcement, it’s only a matter of time before we see more footage in an official trailer. We’ll be keeping an eye out for that.
Jose Maria Yazpik will reprise his role as Amado Carrillo Fuentes, who was introduced in season 3. The show also stars Alejandro Edda, Aaron Staton, Alfonso Dosal, Alyssa Diaz, Ernesto Alterio and Fermin Martinez, among others. Overall, the cast is solid and we can expect some great things from them.
Narcos: Mexico releases on Netflix on November 16.
