The Predator and A Simple Favor arrive to theaters this weekend. What will you be watching?
Last weekend, Peppermint and The Nun kicked off the fall movie season, bringing movie goers plenty of action and fears. Which one did you check out? New movies are on the way, the two biggest being The Predator and A Simple Favor, but there are other options for those who prefer smaller projects.

We have actually caught an early screening of The Predator and can’t wait for everyone else to see it! It’s action packed and the cast is a lot of fun. Compared to the other Predator movies in the franchise, this one does not take itself too seriously.

The movie is rated R for strong bloody violence, language throughout, and crude sexual references. It stars Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Oliva Munn, Sterling K. Brown, and Jacob Tremblay.
A Simple Favor – in theaters Friday, September 14
Hidden Remote attended the advanced screening of A Simple Favor and absolutely loved it! If you’re familiar with the book, know that the film has entirely different finale. And if you know nothing about the novel, you’re in for a ride!
"Official synopsis: A stylish post-modern film noir centers around Stephanie (Anna Kendrick), a mommy blogger who seeks to uncover the truth behind her best friend Emily’s (Blake Lively) sudden disappearance from their small town. Stephanie is joined by Emily’s husband Sean (Henry Golding) in this thriller filled with twists and betrayals, secrets and revelations, love and loyalty, murder and revenge.”"
The movie also stars Henry Golding, Eric Johnson, and Jean Smart. A Simple Favor is rated R for sexual content and language throughout, some graphic nude images, drug use and violence.
