Big Brother 20 is back for a new episode on Wednesday night. The September 19 episode is not a typical one for a Wednesday evening, though, as there is going to be an Eviction Ceremony.

With the season finale only a week away, the producers had to get rid of some more houseguests. A pre-taped Eviction Ceremony took place, which is now going to get shown during the September 19 Big Brother 20 episode. The one-hour installment will also cover everything that has taken place since the Week 12 Nomination Ceremony. That’s a lot for host Julie Chen and the BB20 cast to get through in just 60 minutes.

Diary Room sessions

At the end of the September 16 episode, Angela Rummans was shown nominating Sam Bledsoe and JC Mounduix for eviction. Viewers didn’t get to see what took place after that, so it is time for CBS to provide some more flashbacks from the BB20 house. That could include Sam and JC acting pretty worried about being on the block again.

The Veto Competition and Veto Meeting will also be an important part of the September 19 episode. The competition will give the Power of Veto winner a lot of control over who ends up on the block this week. There are only two houseguests voting in the next Eviction Ceremony, so it is extremely important to not wind up as one of the nominees.

Final five Eviction Ceremony

To finish out the episode, there is going to be another Eviction Ceremony, this time between just the final five houseguests. Someone isn’t going to make the cut and they aren’t going to be happy about it. No matter who ends up getting evicted during the Wednesday episode, they are likely to be just the latest bitter member of the BB20 jury. That wouldn’t be much different than how the final few weeks of the Big Brother 19 season turned out.

The September 19 episode of the show gets started at 8/7c on CBS. It’s the final regularly-schedule Wednesday night episode of the season. As the Big Brother 20 schedule lays out for the next two weeks, the season finale will come up on September 26. That’s how close the show is to naming its winner for the summer 2018 season.
