The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is decking the halls for the Christmas with glistening snowfall and the “The Magic of Christmas” light projection show on Hogwarts Castle (and hot butterbeer is here)!

Universal Studios Hollywood’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter is channeling its inner Scotland and using some extra magic to bring snowfall to Hogsmeade this holiday season. This year’s “Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” will bring back The Magic of Christmas light show on Hogwarts Castle, and the residents of Hogsmeade will design unique storefront Christmas decorations at each of the village’s shops. In addition to the Christmas light show, which follows along to a musical score from the Harry Potter films, guests can also see special holiday performances by the a cappella Frog Choir.

If you’ve been considering adding some Harry Potter-themed decorations to your own Christmas tree at home (or maybe you have a whole separate tree just for Harry Potter… #Goals), Hogsmeade has got you covered. There will be custom-made Christmas ornaments created especially for “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” available again this year, including snow globes, Hogwarts crest and Hogwarts house ornaments, tree toppers, and house pennant garland.

But we haven’t even gotten to the best part yet, because while you’re enjoying winter-inspired food at Three Broomsticks, watching “The Magic of Christmas” light show at Hogwarts, and shopping to have the coolest Harry Potter Christmas tree in town, you can be sipping on hot Butterbeer! And if you haven’t had the chance to try hot Butterbeer yet, you’re in for a magical experience.

“Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” with the Christmas light show will take place daily from November 17, 2018 through January 6, 2019. We recommend you stop by Hogsmeade during the daytime to get the best photos of all the new holiday decorations and then to return again at night to see the shops lit up and to enjoy the light show.
