Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot will play herself in the season 30th premiere of The Simpsons.

Look out Springfield, because Wonder Woman is coming to The Simpsons. It has been reported that Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot will appear as herself in the upcoming September 30th episode “Bart’s Not Dead.” The episode is also the season premiere and will feature yet another Homer-Bart scam.

After a dare gone wrong winds up with Bart in the hospital, Homer (being himself) will try to profit off the event by claiming that Bart briefly died and went to Heaven. In response, some Christian film producers offer Homer a movie deal and he begins holding auditions. Gal Gadot will be one of the people auditioning for a part in the Simpsons’ movie, along with Emily Deschanel (in another cameo).

One can only imagine what Ned Flanders’ reaction will be when he hears the story that Bart and Homer have invented. Odds are good that he will be absolutely thrilled (and probably jealous) that Bart got to experience something like that, only to be crushed when he finds out that it’s all a scam and Homer has fooled him yet again. It’s also a good bet that Homer will thrilled to see Gal Gadot and Marge will take one look at his behavior and immediately not approve (and probably also be jealous).

But since this episode will be the tipoff to The Simpsons record-breaking 30th season, there will be plenty of other guest stars. Hamilton star Jonathan Groff will be making an appearance along with comedians Dave Atell and Pete Holmes. Additionally, the show will also feature a new celebratory logo that also commemorates the 30th season.

Season 30 will begin when “Bart’s Not Dead” airs on Sunday, September 30th.
