Win for a chance to have lunch and take selfies with V-War’s Ian Somerhalder

LOST and Vampire Diaries’ Ian Somerhalder and Omaze are partnering up to give one lucky fan a chance to have lunch and take selfies with Ian in Toronto on the set of V-Wars.

All you Ian Somerhalder fans are in luck! Ever wanted to meet Ian? Well, here’s your chance. LOST and Vampire Diaries’ Ian Somerhalder and Omaze are partnering up to give one lucky a chance to have lunch on the set of V-Wars with Ian himself and to take selfies with him.

But wait, there’s more. You get to go behind-the-scenes of V-Wars along with seeing how the show comes to life. You’ll be flown out to Toronto and they’ll be putting you in a 4-star hotel. You get to bring a friend with you, but if you’re below 18 years old, you’ll need to bring a parent or legal guardian with you.

You will need to donate money in order to be eligible. Donation amounts range from $10 to $5,000. The more that you donate, the more entries you’ll be submitting, which of course improves your chances of winning. The donations will be going towards The Ian Somerhalder Foundation. There are 6 days left to enter. You can read the rules here.

"Ian Somerhalder is back with another bloody awesome show about vampires—and you’re getting a sneak peek before anyone else! We’re flying you and a friend out to Toronto to have lunch with Ian, ask him all your burning questions about his new role as Dr. Luther Swann and take loads of selfies. You’ll even get to visit the set and watch this show about the undead be brought to life. Sounds like a killer day to us. Flights and hotel are covered."

This is a great thing of Ian to do, and what’s pretty neat is that he’s not even done with the vampire genre. I’m eager to see V-Wars on Netflix, which premieres sometime this year. He’ll be both directing and acting in the series. The streaming giant ordered 10 episodes and V-Wars is based on Jonathan Maberry’s book that was published in 2012.

The synopsis about the series:

"In the series, Somerhalder will star as Dr. Luther Swann, who enters a world of untold horror when a mysterious disease transforms his best friend, Michael Fayne, into a murderous predator who feeds on other humans. As the disease spreads and more people are transformed, society fractures into opposing camps pitting normal people against the growing number of these “vampires.” Swann races against time to understand what’s happening, while Fayne rises to become the powerful underground leader of the vampires."

I’m eagerly waiting for Netflix to drop a trailer. It should be a good one, especially with Somerhalder starring in the show.
