The Big Brother results from Wednesday night might have shocked some viewers. The houseguest who won Big Brother 2018 was a bit unexpected, especially with how the season began.

There is a new champion for the BB20 cast. During the September 26 episode, the jury had to decide which of the final two houseguests deserved to win the $500,000 prize. It was an intense final vote as well, with Tyler Crispen and Kaycee Clark trying to convince the jury that they both deserved to win this season. The Big Brother results all came down to the final vote, placed by Bayleigh Dayton during the season finale.

Who won Big Brother 2018?

By a vote of 5-4, Kaycee Clark was the houseguest who won Big Brother 2018. JC Mounduix, Angela Rummans, Brett Robinson, and Haleigh Broucher voted for Tyler. But it was Sam Bledsoe, Scottie Salton, Faysal Shafaat, Rockstar (Angie Lantry), and Bayleigh Dayton who voted for Kaycee. The vote nearly went along alliance lines as Kaycee took home the $500,000.

Despite not winning the show, Tyler did come in second place and to take home an additional $50,000 for the summer 2018 season. As the episode was coming to a close, host Julie Chen Moonves revealed that he had also been selected as America’s Favorite Houseguest. That came with another $25,000 to add to his totals. That’s a pretty successful season, even if the Big Brother results didn’t come out in his favor.

Was the BB20 jury bitter?

During the jury roundtable, hosted by former houseguest Dr. Will Kirby, and during the jury segment hosted by Julie Chen, it certainly appeared that the jurors were holding animosity toward Tyler. Maybe it was because he seemed so confident in his game moves or maybe they still had a sour taste after falling victim to Tyler’s game this summer. Whatever the reason, it seemed very familiar to what took place with the BB19 cast.

It appears that this was a sentiment shared by the BB20 jury, leading to a very intense final 10 minutes of the episode. No matter how she got there, Kaycee Clark was just crowned as the winner and she takes her place among the houseguests who have won it before. Now that everyone knows who won Big Brother 2018, it’s time to start speculating on which celebrities could play the game this winter.
