Netflix Canada boasts scariest clown movie ever

Netflix Canada is now streaming the most terrifying clown movie ever, and it’s not the one you think!

Canadian Netflix users have already been highly anticipating the shows airing this October, due to many fan favorite Halloween themed shows and movies. Now, their excitement has been further increased due to the recent streaming of what is claimed to be the most frightening movie starring an evil clown.

Television series and movies involving clowns have always had quite the hold on viewers due to their frightening nature and the seemingly inability to look away despite how scared those who watch it become. There’s Stephen King’s It, 1998’s Carnival of Souls, and 1989’s Clownhouse. This October, however, there is a new movie that’ll be scaring all Netflix users in Canada, Terrifier. 

The film is not only your general slasher/gore movie, but is also reminiscent of such movies as Nightmare on Elm Street and fellow Netflix title Stranger Things. However, this new release manages to take on its own unique manner of scaring the living daylights out of its watchers.

As for the synopsis of the film, it starts out as many others do in that it takes place on Halloween night. A demoniac clown begins to roam the streets in order to traumatize anyone he can. The clown begins with three young girls he goes out of his way to make sure never remain the same again. The movie features fictional super villain Art the Clown, who director Damien Leone worked hard to transform into an even scarier miscreant than Pennywise himself.

Terrifier, released back on September 28, is already on many Netflix Canada user’s must-watch list, as it does not stop short of getting them in the mood for Halloween on October 31.

One of the most compelling parts of this newly-released horror film is that, even after decades of clown-themed television shows and movies, the work put into the direction and filming of this release has undoubtedly made it one of the most memorable scary films of all time.
