Survivor: David vs. Goliath – Time to Bring About the Charm Apocalypse preview & LS
The next episode of Survivor is “Time to Bring About the Charm Apocalypse” and features the inevitable tribe realignment.
Without doing research, it feels like Survivor switches tribes too randomly at times. Just as the David tribe is finding some tracking, there is a reshuffle of the tribes. Sure, it adds a new dynamic and mixes up alliances, but it pretty much defeats the whole David vs. Goliath theme for the season. It would have been better to see whether or not David could continue to defy the odds.
If there’s anything we all learned from the last episode it’s that people on Survivor will choose lazy and irritating over scheming and manipulative. The former is usually just a puzzle piece, and the latter is dangerous.
What to expect next episode
At the rate this season of Survivor is going, it’s only a matter of time before everyone cries about the weather or something else that shouldn’t cause tears. In the preview for this week, Christian Hubicki plans on the “Charm Apocalypse,” and Gabby Pascuzzi cries. Probably because she sees him be nice to someone other than her, or because it’s her turn. But, hey, at least she lasted longer than Carl.

Aside from the famous “drop your buffs”-line and the crying, the weather probably will continue to beat the cast into submission. Can Bi Nguyen heal quickly enough for her new tribe and alliances to view her more as a strength than a liability?
