The Doctor heads to Montgomery, Alabama in Doctor Who Season 11, episode 3. Is someone attempting to prevent Rosa Parks from making history? Here’s what to expect and how to watch live.

Doctor Who Season 11, episode 3 takes us to 1955. More specifically, we’re heading to Montgomery, Alabama to the time of Rosa Parks. And the majority of you will know that place and name. Could someone be attempting to get rid of the woman behind the bus boycott? Check out the events of the episode and how to watch live.

Before we get into the episode, let’s take a brief look at last week’s episode titled “The Ghost Monument.” It didn’t take long into figuring out the reason for the episode titled. After a sort of space-race that was more like The Hunger Games than anything else, The 13th Doctor and her three new companions were united with the TARDIS.

Like the new Doctor, the TARDIS has a new look, connecting back to the Classic Who series. This isn’t surprising as Chris Chibnall mentioned during NYCC that there would be more connections to the original series. This is clearly just the start.

Chibnall also said there would be more standalone, history-related episodes, which is where this week’s episode comes into place. Titled “Rosa,” it’s immediately clear where the title comes from. Jodie Whitaker’s Doctor and her companions will end up in 1955, where someone is trying to prevent Rosa from refusing to give up her seat on the bus. If that happens, the black people of Montgomery won’t start their bus boycott, which helped pushed the civil right’s movement forward.

At a brief glimpse of the trailer, it also looks like this is the episode Revenge and Lore star Josh Bowman will be in and he doesn’t look like he’s the good guy. Man, were there some excited screams when his face popped up at the end of the first episode for all the guest stars that would appear in the season.
