Manifest is back this week and it’s time to delve into the government conspiracy. Why are people going missing and what does it have to do with Cal’s illness.
It would be easy to assume that Cal’s treatment has something to do with his fever and seizures on Manifest Season 1, Episode 6. That’s certainly not going to be the case. There’s something much bigger at play and it’s time to find out something now that the show is back after a week off.
Michaela and Ben have found that people are going missing. So far, 11 people from Flight 828 have disappeared. The government is up to something and whatever it is, there’s a knock-on effect for everyone else on that flight. Cal is the one most in danger right now, as he’s gravely ill and is getting worse.
Jared is on his ex-girlfriend’s side, as he goes with her to check out a site. It turns out to be a government black site and now Jared needs to know more of everything that is happening.

Meanwhile, Ben is going to figure out why the people are going missing and how it affects his son. This has gotten worse when one more passenger goes missing, making it clear that there is something that connects each and every one of them.

Things are certainly getting intense. With Manifest getting three extra episodes, we can expect this mystery to continue for a little while longer. I still just hope that the show writers learned from LOST‘s mistake in keeping the mystery going for too long.
