Is Will & Grace new on Thanksgiving?
By Reed Gaudens
Will there be a new episode of Will & Grace on Thanksgiving? Unfortunately, Grace’s relationship drama isn’t on the menu this holiday.
While no one throws a holiday episode quite like Will & Grace, the sitcom will be sitting this Thanksgiving out. Even though one of their classic holiday episodes made our list of the 30 greatest Thanksgiving episodes of all time, Season 10 won’t be adding a new classic to that ranking this year, and it will also be making us wait a couple weeks to answer the questions left being by that oh-so nostalgic “to be continued…”
Will & Grace will return with new episodes on Thursday, Nov. 29 and Dec. 6 at its regular timeslot of 9 p.m. Although more new episodes might still follow in December, the sitcom will jump back a half hour to pair up with Brooklyn Nine-Nine beginning on Jan. 31 to finish out its season. And fans of the revived Fox favorite will want to stick around for the Must See TV staple, as this season has been firing on all cylinders and providing heaps of catharsis.

When we last left the fiercest foursome on television, Jack and Karen were busy butting heads over Jack’s latest one-man show. Guest star Jon Cryer got caught in the middle of their heated creative debates, but Karen ultimately allowed Jack to put on the show he intended. Meanwhile, Will caught Grace’s boyfriend Noah (guest star David Schwimmer) in his lie about having a daughter that he omitted from Grace. But Noah does tell Grace he loves her.
The first episode back from the Thanksgiving break picks up where the “to be continued” left off, as Grace asks Noah when she can meet his daughter and him saying that’s “not going to happen.” Of course, Grace doesn’t take too kindly to his response and accidentally forces her way into Katie’s life. Elsewhere, Will reunites with his mother (guest star Blythe Danner), and in the following week’s episode, Adam Rippon cameos and Matt Bomer begins a guest starring arc.
Why doesn’t Noah want Grace to meet his daughter? What turn of events leads to Grace accidentally meeting Katie without Noah’s permission? Will Noah react harshly to the inadvertent introduction? What are Jack and Karen up to following their short-lived feud? What brings Will’s mother back in town? And will Will’s seeming romance with Matt Bomer’s character be a serious one?
