Every upcoming live-action Disney remake in the works

Chip n’ Dale
Chip and Dale were a reoccurring pair of chipmunks who appeared in over 22 Mickey Mouse cartoons that usually involved them irritating Mickey’s dog Pluto. Their popularity gave them their own animated series, ‘Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers that ran for three seasons. The series involved Chip, the brains, and Dale, the goof, running a detective agency aimed at helping their fellow animals.
Now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the chipmunk pair and their series is being adapted into a live-action film directed by Robert Rugan. It’s being produced by Mandeville Films and that’s pretty much all we know about it.
It’s been indefinitely placed in the pre-development stage since 2014 and no one knows when it will come out.
Lilo & Stitch
One of the less famous Disney films, Lilo & Stitch follows a young Hawaiian girl raised by her older sister as she adopts an alien she thinks is a dog. A box office disappointment, its honest depiction of Hawaii and the adorable Stitch found it a dedicated fanbase years later.
Its only just been announced that the 2002 film will be getting the Disney remake treatment so there’s not a lot of details on it yet. All we know is that the film will be a CGI/live-action hybrid written by Mike Van Waes and produced by Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich. But besides that, there’s nothing.
