The Celebrity Big Brother Season 2 premiere date was just released by CBS. This sets the stage for an exciting summer, as the reality competition show returns for a second run with celebrities.
It’s time! CBS has finally announced the Celebrity Big Brother Season 2 premiere date. It’s taking place a bit earlier than expected, with the first episode set for Monday, January 21. This is a huge deal, as it is nearly two full weeks earlier than the 2018 installment. It also means that there are fewer than two months left until the season premiere airs on CBS.

Taking to its Twitter account for the reality competition show, CBS released the first official information about the winter 2019 show. Now, fans can start planning out when to watch the new episodes, as it’s going to be a busy winter within the network schedule.

Celebrity Big Brother Season 2 cast
The names of the new cast members haven’t been revealed yet, and likely won’t until the month of January rolls around. This will give the network and the show producers a lot of time to begin advertising for the second installment. Then, fans are going to get inundated with information, especially if there are some exciting names in the mix.
Last time around, CBS had 11 celebrities enter the Big Brother house. The show was a great alternative program to the Winter Olympics on NBC, but now it could become a regular occurrence for CBS viewers. That’s a good thing, as this is an easy program to put together and for the network market for the winter months. It’s also a great interlude between the summer seasons that the regular version of the show has each year.
