My team and I voted to come up with a list of the 25 best holiday movies. Each day, leading up to Christmas Day, we’ll release a film from our list. Along with it, we’ll have all the details on where and how you can watch the movie. We have already revealed #25 is Holiday in Handcuffs, so today we move on to #24 — A Christmas Carol.
To be honest, I believe A Christmas Carol deserves a higher spot on the list. How can such a popular tale rank so low? Your guess is as good as mine. It’s such a classic, the film has been adapted over 10 times, including a Muppet version.

So, with so many versions out there, which one are we ranking here, exactly? All of them! Number 24 goes out to Charles Dickens’ classic story of Scrooge, a grumpy old man who needs some holiday spirit.
The latest version of the book is 2009’s Disney’s A Christmas Carol, starring Jim Carrey as Ebenezer Scrooge. The movie debuted November 6, 2009, and also stars Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, and Robin Wright.
