When is SEAL Team back in 2019?

CBS’ SEAL Team was the only military drama of the 2017-2018 season to make it through to another year and remains popular with the fans. When is the show returning with new episodes in 2019?

SEAL Team wrapped up its Mexico storyline and its first half on Wednesday night. Pulling in its highest ratings of the whole season, it continues to be a Wednesday night staple and fans need to know when the show will return. The good news is SEAL Team returns early 2019 so there isn’t long to wait.

Make sure you’re around just after New Year’s Day. SEAL Team returns on Jan. 2, 2019. Yes, that early! We’ll get to find out where everyone is in their relationships and what’s to come for the next mission.

Update: SEAL Team took another break shortly after its return. It will be back in March at a new time.

There are plenty of questions, too. How will the Hayes family move forward now after that shocking death? Is there hope for Stella and Clay (by the way, despite Alona Tal landing a lead in a pilot, she is going to return to SEAL Team for at least one episode)? And how will Bravo Team move forward after the rocky start they’ve had to the season?

Oh, and of course, there’s Sonny and Davis. What’s this ship? Savis? Donny? Quavis? There are so many potential ship names and that makes this one something to root for.

When SEAL Team does return, Bravo Team will find themselves working with the British. This is going to be an episode close to my heart for that reason (for those who don’t know, I’m a Brit living in Canada). Bravo Team will partner with the British SAS when a plane is hijacked by terrorists and passengers need to be rescued.

What exactly is going to force the two secret military personnel to work together? This is the first time we’ve seen the SEALs work with another secret service out there. They’ve not even worked with their own Delta yet!

There will likely be some reruns between now and the new episode, but 2019 is when the first new episode of Season 2 comes back. So exciting!
