The year is ending and TV shows across all the networks are beginning their winter break. ABC’s How to Get Away with Murder actually aired its fall finale back in Nov., but it’s only now that we have learned when the series will be back in 2019. So when does How to Get Away with Murder come back in 2019?
ABC announced their 2019 return dates, with How to Get Away with Murder slotted to return on Thursday, Jan. 17. The series will return in its usual time slot of 10:00 p.m. EST.

TGIT is in for a major shake-up when it returns in 2019. While How to Get Away with Murder will be back in its usual slot. And Grey’s Anatomy will also return the same day as well in its usual time slot, there is a new series coming in between the two Shondaland shows.
A Million Little Things, one of the newest TV shows on ABC, is set to be aired in the 9:00 pm time slot, straight after Grey’s Anatomy and before How to Get Away with Murder. Replacing Station 19 which has been benched until A Million Little Things airs its series finale.
It’s a move that came as a major surprise for many. But for fans of A Million Little Things, it’s a positive thing. Thursday night is traditionally one of the most popular nights for TV, which means ABC clearly have a high opinion of the new series.
