The new cast of characters will start playing the game before the first episode makes its way to CBS. This is for producers to introduce them to the game and for a lot of early footage to be filmed. Likely about a week before the season premiere, CBS will reveal the new cast list. It will be considered a last-minute reveal by many fans, but this is to make sure that the new houseguests are sequestered by the time the public knows their names. Being sequestered means that they will be hidden from the public and not interacting on social media for that span of time. Then, they will enter the house, get a refresher on the rules, and the cameras will start filming.
