Timeless Season 3 is still a possibility after set pull-down postponed

The Timeless finale movie may have aired but Timeless Season 3 is still an actual possibility, especially since news has emerged the set pull-down was postponed.

If you haven’t watched the Timeless finale movie just yet don’t panic. I won’t be going into the ins and outs about what happened, so there is no risk of any spoilers. All you need to know is while some stories have been wrapped up, there is still plenty left over to continue the series if the show is saved and Timeless Season 3 is officially a go.

Clockblockers have been in hope that someone would come along and save Timeless for some time now. Working hard and campaigning ever since NBC announced that Season 2 would be the last. They’ve flown helicopters, aptly named HelCLOCKters at convention centers and popular public attractions, took over Time Square with a massive campaign board, and more. The fandom has been so supportive it’s a wonder why nobody has yet picked up the series.

However, it looks as though someone very well could be coming in and saving the series and giving fans that long sought after Timeless Season 3. Shortly after the two-hour finale movie, SDSA Set Decor, conducted an interview about the sets of the time travel series, where they learned that plans to pull-down the set had been postponed.

"SET DECOR: What surprised you about the show? Bolder: We had been told this was it, this is the grand finale for the fans. The big wrap up. Don’t keep anything, return everything.As we were starting to wrap the permanent sets, the word came around… fold and hold.TIMELESS isn’t done yet?That’s the mystery."

Now let’s be honest and speculate for a moment. Why would set designers be told not to pull down a set? Well, the only reason I can see why is that it is needed for future filming. But why would future filming be needed when the show is offically over? Because it’s not. Pure and simple. Someone is very interested in saving Timeless. That’s the only possible reason. Or at least the only reason I am willing to listen to.

Co-Creator Shawn Ryan is obviously interested in the idea of a revival. In an interview with ET he talked about the finale along with what a revival could look like. So clearly the idea of a Timeless Season 3 has not dwindled into nothing.

So there is still hope my fellow Clockblockers. So let’s not give up just yet. We could be learning any day now about Timeless Season 3.
