5. Can Beast Boy help keep Rachel grounded?

Rachel’s dad wants to break her completely. She’ll more likely join him in destroying the world instead of fighting against him. Now that Robin has gone dark side, it looks like it will be easy for Trigon to get his daughter on side.

But we can’t forget Beast Boy. Gar is in the house and was saved by Trigon. That won’t mean he trusts the man, but he could offer some sense of goodness and hope for Rachel. He may be able to keep her grounded while she starts spiraling in despair.

Gar could also be the one to help get Starfire and Wonder Girl back into the house. Maybe he can figure out what’s going on to take down whatever the shield is temporarily.

Beast Boy didn’t get too much attention throughout Season 1. It’s time to give him some now.
