My 600-lb Life Season 7, Episode 2: Brianne’s Story preview & LS
My 600-lb Life either showcases a sympathetic person or a disagreeable rule breaker who believes in second breakfast. Brianne is more of the former.
Look, it has to get easier from here than dealing with someone who is actively going to argue with Dr. Now on a regular basis. Octavia was a handful, and it was difficult to cheer in the first episode of My 600-lb Life‘s seventh season. The upcoming episode, however, is a much more upbeat story.
Brianne is one of the more inspiring and interesting patients ever on My 600-lb Life. She follows the rules, is incredibly sympathetic, and has quite a bit going against her. No arguments. No “holier than thou”-attitude. Just a simple understanding that Dr. Now is the HMFIC.

It starts from a very bad spot
Brianne starts at over 700 pounds. That’s an entirely new show, people. She’s got the loving support, however, of a man by her side.
A man who makes lots and lots of trips to local fast food restaurants. A man who was single-handedly supporting a local barbecue joint before Brianne made it on My 600-lb Life. On top of that, he’s old enough to be her father by several years, and his health isn’t exactly up to Jack LaLanne standards.
Has there ever been an episode where there is more concern about a family member’s health over one of Dr. Now’s patients? Will Dr. Now treat someone other than his massive patient for a change?
Even though this is one of the episodes of My 600-lb Life where it’s almost entirely positive, there are a few things to think about during the episode. First, where do people on My 600-lb Life get their clothes? Second, why does every episode require a simultaneously inappropriate and unnecessarily blurred shower? Last, how is this show more nauseating than Dr. Pimple Popper half the time?
