With the first season of DC Universe’s Titans now over, it’s time to rank each member of the group!

DC Universe proved that they were going to excel as a streaming service when they dropped the first powerhouse season of Titans! If you haven’t seen the series just yet, you’re missing out! Please note: Spoilers are ahead if you are not caught up on the series!

Who was your favorite member of the Titans? Below, we rank all eight…

1. Hawk (Alan Ritchson)

Hawk wasn’t exactly present in every episode of Titans, but each episode or scene the uber-talented Alan Ritchson was a part of was some of the series absolute best work. From his initial introduction, we know he has a strong will for fighting crime, a very protective role towards his love interest, and a jagged past that is slowly explored in a nuanced fashion.

As the layers of Hawk are peeled back, you will discover that from his childhood on, the character has endless depth that even delves into the true horrors behind sexual abuse and the outcome in can have on those who experience it. As a whole, Hawk is the truest hero Titans has set up so far that, when he wasn’t present, we were itching to see the vigilante hero kick some major a** and maybe even enjoy some much-needed rest and relaxation. Hawk for MVP!

2. Starfire (Anna Diop)

Starfire is one of the most popular Titans from comic, to cartoon, and now even in the live action series for the streaming platform. Despite actress Anna Diop receiving unwarranted and utterly ignorant racist backlash on her social media platforms – she handled toxicity by playing the role perfectly with grace, strength and an attitude that someone of that character’s caliber is required to be.

The character is shrouded in mystery for almost the entire season, but her one-liners, odd relationships with others and badass display of power is enough to make Starfire one of the top two heroes we’ve seen so far. (Did you expect any less though?)
