My 600-lb Life gets a little heavier than normal in Robin’s Story. With three people involved, it’s almost the show Family by the Ton.

Thus far on season 7 of My 600-lb Life, there has been one negative and one positive. Octavia argued with Dr. Now. On the contrary, Brianne was a relative delight. It’s time to break the tie with Robin, her 600-lb brother Chris, and her enabling 600-lb nephew Garrett.

By the time she was 12, Robin looked like an adult version of Jack Black. By high school graduation she tipped the scales at 350-lbs. Afterwards she ballooned up to nearly 600-lbs and suffered abuse. Her entire tale is littered with the word “big” instead of the word “fat,” and it’s apparent she’s in enough denial to reverse the laws of physics.

Home Life

It’s really painful to stand up. Probably because the lymphedemas on her calves are heavy enough to graduate from a car seat to a booster seat. She looks like she’s done approximately 5000 calf raises a day for the past 8 years.

Naturally, there is the disgusting and embarrassing cleaning scene. She obviously cries in the shower. The inadequate blurs cover what would most likely look like her private parts if visible, but do nothing to obscure her atrocious tattoo collection doodled by someone who needs their license revoked.

More from Reality TV

She sees herself as a monster, but mostly because Japanese people run away from her in fear. Her husband James is basically her caretaker. Coincidentally she bears a slight resemblance to a pug, and her small dog walks beneath her feet, unaware of the perpetual danger.

The Average Meal

Garrett brings what appears to be a triple hamburger with french fries for breakfast. They both sit face to face, inhaling their food with a quiet, closed eyes, orgasmic satisfaction.

Immediately after the meal, her rush is extended by going shopping. She smiles at Garrett before they pull off in a minivan that immediately becomes a low-rider. She doesn’t have the stamina to use the scooter very long, despite the fact it has a motor. Whenever possible, the economy size is plucked from the shelves like a rabbit snatched in a falcon’s claws. Tired from the hunt, Robin and Garrett retreat to their den.

Dr. Now’s Evaluation

Before the trip, Chris sadly has a heart attack. So instead of the entire family going on the trip like The Fatties, it’s just Robin and Garrett. Thankfully, Garrett gets a haircut before the trip. On the other hand, his haircut makes him look like he’s about to blow a conch and call a meeting to order.

A quick pit stop on the way to Houston allows them to take a break from the drive. And from guzzling soda. They choose a Mexican joint, and it becomes evident Robin is bilingual, because she immediately recognizes the word grande. And you KNOW she got the personal queso..

Her first weigh in is 648, and Garrett is at 607. The shocks on their vehicle have reached the point of overhaul. Dr. Now tells Garrett he’s on pace for a Guinness World Record since he’s 20-years old. Both have to follow the diet plan and lose 50-lbs each within the next month.

The follow-up appointments & therapy

Three weeks later back in Meade, KS, and Robin swears they’re following the diet. By the time they go back for the follow-up appointment at the 3-month mark, it’s apparent Robin is a hypochondriac. Pain at a 1000 on a 1-to-10 scale. They weigh in. Robin lost 33-lbs, and is at 615. Garrett drops to 585-lbs. Neither reach their mark. An immediate decision to move to Houston is made.

  • Month 4: Cellulitis infection because poor hygiene, a move to Houston, 9-lbs loss, Garrett is better and gets approved for weight loss surgery, Robin gets one more chance from Dr. Now
  • Month 5: Garrett’s gastric sleeve surgery
  • Month 6: Robin gets cut down to a 600 calorie diet, she thinks Dr. Now is wrong (eye roll) about her needing to walk
  • Month 7: Robin is at 511-lbs, down 87-lbs in two months, finally hits a mark Dr. Now requests, gets approved for weight loss surgery, walks to her car in a purple shirt and grimaces
  • Month 9: Another 48-lbs lost, surgery accomplished
  • Month 10: Robin is at 432-lbs, and Garrett is at 418-lbs, Garrett takes a welding class
  • Month 12: Robin is at 395-lbs, and Garrett is at 337-lbs, Robin and James go on a date.

Next. My 600-lb Life: Brianne succeeds. dark

It looks like both Robin and Garrett are on their way to success. Hopefully they’re able to continue progress and help out Chris. To be continued.
