With the likes of more Murdoch Mysteries and a new Acorn Original, there’s plenty to come to Acorn TV in February 2019. Here are five things you need to watch, plus everything arriving.

Acorn TV has possibly its best lineup of arrivals so far. Each week, more Murdoch Mysteries is set to arrive on the platform, but that’s most definitely not all. Between older British mysteries, new Acorn Originals, and excellent documentaries, there’s plenty for North Americans to enjoy on Acorn TV in February 2019.

As I’ve done in previous months, I’ll highlight the top five arrivals for the month. After that, I’ll share everything that’s coming to Acorn TV in February to make sure you’re ready.

5. Savile Row

Reading that title, you likely have the music from Annie in your head. After all, Savile Row was mentioned in the song “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile.” But this documentary is looking into the tailors on Savile Row.

For 200 years, the London Row has been a secretive community of fine tailoring. You’d never see cameras head behind the front office, but that all changed with the three-part documentary. With the downward spiral in terms of finances and a change of fashion among the people, the tailors are facing their own challenges.

The documentary looks at how The Row has been affected by giant outlets selling jeans and tees, and what happens when people move to shop online.
