Supernatural stars not ready for the show’s end just yet
Remember the rumors that Episode 300 was the end? I always said it wasn’t and the Supernatural stars have admitted they may not be ready for the show to end just yet.
Back in 2016, rumors spread that Episode 300 would be the end of Supernatural. I always said the rumors started from a statement out of context and that’s not what the stars meant. Sure enough, the stars later clarified that it was about the next milestone and not the end.
All this hasn’t stopped the rumors from continuing. Episode 300, Season 14, Season 15, there are all sorts of dates or times that fans say the show will end, but right now the end isn’t in sight for the Supernatural stars.

According to an interview with Entertainment Weekly, they’re not looking at a particular number. They just want to keep telling stories if they’re there to tell. Right now, there are plenty.

If you ask me, there are lots that could involve Sam. He’s not had much attention recently. Sure, he’s stepped up as leader, but he’s not found himself central to a plot; just there on the sidelines to support his brother. And it is time for that to change.
That being said, the show has to come to an end. When it does, the stars don’t want the series to have run into the ground. They don’t want to go out with a fizzle. Supernatural deserves to go out with a bang.
But rest assured, the stars don’t seem to want to end with Season 14. I’ve written in the past that Jared Padalecki has hunted at wanting Season 15 and I’ve never seen either him or Jensen Ackles mention an end after that. As long as there are stories and the network wants them, it looks like we have a show.
