Celebrity Big Brother spoilers: HOH winner, eviction nominees

Celebrity Big Brother spoilers have finally been confirmed by the show. Now, viewers know the first HOH winner and the names of the eviction nominees. This information was rumored on social media, but nothing beats getting some confirmation.

Celebrity Big Brother spoilers had been heavily hinted at when it comes to the first Head of Household for the winter 2019 season. That information wasn’t confirmed during the season premiere, though, which is why it remained a bit of a rumor heading into Episode 2. It took until the second episode for some of that information to finally change over to known facts.

The confirmed Celebrity Big Brother spoilers

The duo of Ryan Lochte and Jonathan Bennett won the first house competition. Host Julie Chen Moonves told them that they would then have to face off in another challenge, with the winner becoming the first HOH and the loser becoming the first nominee for eviction. The results of that head-to-head challenge were just revealed on January 22.

The first Celebrity Big Brother HOH is Ryan Lochte. By default, that made Jonathan Bennett the first eviction nomination of the season. If it were up to Ryan, it is very likely that Jonathan would not have ended up as a Week 1 nominee. That’s not how twists work inside the BB house, though, as host Julie Chen Moonves likes to state to the CBS viewers.

The Celebrity Big Brother nominees

During the first Celebrity Big Brother Nomination Ceremony of the winter, Ryan Lochte nominated Anthony Scaramucci and Tom Green for eviction. They join Jonathan Bennett on the block.

Key alliances formed

One of the important Big Brother alliances is the foursome of Kandi Burruss, Natalie Eva Marie, Tamar Braxton, and Lolo Jones. Another foursome is Natalie, Lolo, Ryan Lochte, and Jonathan Bennett. Both groups are off-shoots of the bigger six-person alliance that includes all of them. Outside of that, Ryan and Jonathan made a final two deal.
