The new episode of Celebrity Big Brother 2 aired on Saturday, February 2. It’s the only Saturday episode of the winter, placed there to avoid the Super Bowl.

This Celebrity Big Brother recap is packed with information, as producers had a lot to cover in a very short amount of time. Not only did they need to cover the Veto Competition, Veto Meeting, and Eviction Ceremony, but the in-fighting that plagued the house for the past few days. It definitely meant that there would be no time to show a Head of Household Competition.

Celebrity Big Brother recap from January 30 episode

During the “previously on Big Brother” segment, Tom Green was shown winning the Head of Household Competition called Slaughter House. He then nominated Kandi Burruss and Joey Lawrence for eviction. It was also revealed that Tamar Braxton had won the Power of the Publicist, as awarded to her by the fans.

Nomination Ceremony fallout

In Diary Room sessions, Kandi said she was going to win the Power of the Veto, Tamar bragged about her new power, and Tom revealed that his ultimate plan was to backdoor Ricky Williams. In the HOH room, Tom, Kato Kaelin, and Ricky talked about who might have the power (now). Tom started to appear paranoid about who really had it, leading him to question everyone.

Alliance shifting, Lolo Jones style

Tom went to speak with Lolo Jones and Natalie Eva Marie about who had the secret power and she got in his face about it. It was very clear that she wasn’t going to stay strong with that alliance, especially after Tom suggested the foursome needed to work at getting Ricky out. Lolo said that she was watching his back because he watched hers, and she told him Tom’s plan.

Power of Veto Competition results

Tom Green, Joey Lawrence, and Kandi Burruss were joined by Dina Lohan, Lolo Jones, and Natalie Eva Marie in the Veto Competition. The object was to spin until dizzy and then kick oversized footballs through goal posts. It was a twist on the bowling competition typically done during the summer seasons.

More from Hidden Remote

They battled head-to-head for the Power of Veto. Lolo beat Dina, Tom beat Joey, Tom beat Kandi, and Natalie beat Tom. That left Natalie against Lolo to complete the challenge. Natalie beat Lolo to win the Power of Veto.

Veto Meeting

Natalie chose not to use the Power of Veto and then tried to play it off to Tom that he never came to her about the plan. Natalie and Lolo said they couldn’t find Tom in the 24 hours leading up to the Veto Meeting. Then, Natalie, Lolo, and Ricky went to Tom and Kato to confirm they were all working together still. They weren’t.

Eviction Ceremony

The most important part of this Celebrity Big Brother recap was how the episode ended. The house had to decide if they were evicting Joey Lawrence or Kandi Burruss.

Lolo Jones voted to evict Joey, Kato Kaelin voted for Joey, and Natalie Eva Marie also voted to evict Joey. It was then time for a commercial. This was a different result than they had discussed earlier in the day. Tamar Braxton voted for Joey, and so did Dina Lohan and Ricky Williams. By a 6-0 vote, Joey Lawrence was evicted from the Big Brother house.

That brings an end to the February 2 Celebrity Big Brother recap. There is no new Head of Household yet, but that information could come out on the live feeds later this weekend. It might even take place late Saturday night, but there was just too much ground to cover during the episode.
