The Super Bowl is known for dropping new and spectacular previews for upcoming movies. Here were the five best movie trailers from the game.

The Super Bowl is more than just a football game. It has become a cultural experience. For starters, it’s a championship for the NFL so viewers will be locked into the game from the start. However, parties, the halftime show, and most importantly, commercials have made it a larger-than-life event.

Commercials come in all different shapes and sizes from a variety of genres during the Super Bowl. Beer, sports, television shows, and household products are just a few of the topics that come up in commercials. One topic that is assured to receive a lot of buzz during the Super Bowl, though, involves movie trailers. Because of the huge audience watching the game, studios elect to run movie trailers to generate significant buzz for upcoming films.

The Super Bowl featured stunning trailers that only generated more excitement for each film. Here were the five best trailers from the game.

Avengers: Endgame

To quote one of Samuel L. Jackson’s most famous lines from Jurassic Park, “Hold on to your butts.” The latest television spot for Avengers: Endgame highlights the remaining Avengers preparing for a final battle with Thanos.

From the looks of the trailer, there seems to have been a time jump from the events following Avengers: Infinity War. New York City appears desolate after Thanos wiped out half of the universe. The beginning sequence features snapshots of the Avengers who disintegrated such as Spider-Man, Black Panther, and Peter Quill. The remaining Avengers, led by Captain America and Iron Man, are gearing up to save the world and bring their friends back.

Avengers: Endgame is scheduled to be released April 26, 2019.

Us

Jordan Peele is ready to reveal his latest nightmare to the world in Us. Peele’s follow-up to the Academy Award-winning Get Out promises to be even scarier and creepier than his first film. In Us, Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke star in this horror story that pits the duo up against their own worst enemy, themselves. Nyong’o, Duke, and their two children are confronted by their evil and sadistic doppelgängers. Expect chaos and craziness to ensue as the family fights for survival.

Us is scheduled to be released on March 22, 2019.
