When urban legends and fairy tales start coming to life, the Winchesters know they have a case. What happened in Supernatural Season 5, Episode 6?

With the Winchesters back together, they had a case to solve. This one involved fairy tales and urban legends coming to life. While nothing strange for the brothers, the reason behind everything coming to life was unexpected in Supernatural Season 5, Episode 6.

Death by itching powder?

It all starts with a girl who scratches her brains out after an itching powder joke goes wrong. Then a man electrocutes himself with joy buzzers and a strange Tooth Fairy takes out a man’s full set of teeth.

Urban legends and fairy tales are coming to life, which isn’t usually a curious case for the Winchesters. However, it becomes personal when Dean ends up with hairy palms from a certain activity. And why?

Well, it’s linked to Jesse Turner, who makes everything come to life from what he believes in. He’s not a witch or even doing this to harm people. So, what are the Winchesters dealing with?

Who Is Jesse Turner?

During the episode, the Winchesters go searching for information about Jesse. He was adopted and his birth mother, Julia, shares that she got pregnant while being possessed by a demon. She decided to give the baby up for adoption and Castiel shares that Jesse is an Antichrist.

No, not the Antichrist, the son of Lucifer. He’s a Cambion and the term “antichrist” has been taken out of context from the bible. He’s just half human and half demon, with unlimited powers. However, he could be used in the apocalypse by Lucifer so he needs to be eliminated.

Of course, the Winchesters don’t just want to kill a kid. They don’t think Jesse will turn evil if he’s taken somewhere safe. However, the demon that conceived him has other plans, possessing Jesse’s adoptive mom.

Despite the demon’s attempts to turn Jesse evil, Jesse wants to hear what Sam has to say about how he can be good. It’s enough to get Jesse to kill the demon. Now it’s over, he pretends that he wants to say goodbye to his adoptive parents but then uses his powers to disappear. With his own magic, nobody, even the angels, can track him.

And that’s the last we hear of Jesse. He’s not even been mentioned since!
