Good Trouble Season 1, Episode 5 preview: Stef and Lena return

Thanks to Malika, Alice stood up for herself when everyone was making her do everything for the Coterie family. Mariana and Raj may also be a potential couple. Here’s how to watch tonight’s episode of Good Trouble live.

Okay, wow. I love the new side to Alice in last week’s episode of Good Trouble. We all know Alice is too kind, but she broke down when no one around her helped take part in doing maintenance for the Coterie. Alice finally stood up to everyone and told the family they now have to take care of the toilet paper. We also learned that Mariana’s boss, Alex, is racist. Alex put on an Indian accent and poor Raj laughs just to fit in with the crowd. Mariana and Raj may also be a potential couple, and I am so here for that.

Welcome back, Stef and Lena!

Everyone, rejoice! The couple that was the foundation of The Fosters is officially returning. We’ll be seeing the iconic couple, Stef and Lena, back on our TV screens tonight!

The way Stef and Lena make their entrance into the Coterie is not the best way to have your parents over. The police department received an anonymous tip that the building is a fire trap. The police officer let Alice know about it, and Stef and Lena enter the building hearing that.

What a way for Stef and Lena to have their grand entrance, the second they arrive and instantly hear Callie and Mariana’s building has a fire trap. That must be extremely nerve-wracking for any parent to hear about their children being in that situation (although it was an anonymous tip).

You could see the look on both Callie and Mariana’s faces looking petrified the second they both hear Stef’s voice from behind them going “Fire trap? What?” as Stef and Lena arrive from the escalator. This is definitely NOT the way you want to welcome your parents.

Judging from the clips that I’ve seen from Freeform’s press website, it looks like a disaster is waiting to happen once Stef and Lena arrive at the Coterie. Callie and Mariana are trying to rush and clean up the place and make it spotless to give their parents a nice first impression and to probably show they are capable of living on their own together. We also all know how critical Stef can be, which you can already see from one of the clips.

One thing is for sure: Stef and Lena are definitely going to have some kind of fun as you see in the above still, they are drinking what appears to be wine with Alice. So at least they’re all having a good time. But I’m sure this is only for a small portion of the episode.
