There was no new NCIS last Tuesday and there’s no new episode this week, either. NCIS has been bumped for the State of the Union address, but here’s everything about the next new episode.

President Trump’s State of the Union address is a week late thanks to the Government shutdown. CBS had already planned for no new NCIS last week and now the program has to be bumped for the address this week. But there’s some exciting news for the next new episode.

If you weren’t watching Super Bowl 53, you will have missed the NCIS promo for Season 16, Episode 13. Titled “She,” we got a flashback of Ziva in the trailer. While I don’t think the character will be back (she was killed off, albeit off-screen), that doesn’t mean we won’t get a few flashbacks.

More from CBS

Ziva comes up when a confused, malnourished nine-year-old shows up in a storage unit. This nine-year-old may be linked to a missing Navy recruit, which means an old case is opened. That case being opened means Bishop finds a note from Ziva, left after the case had been closed. We can tell from the promo that means the world to Gibbs and he doesn’t quite know how to handle it at first.

Unlike last week, which saw a rerun of NCIS, there’s not even a rerun of the series this week. A rerun of Sunday’s The World’s Best will air in the 8 p.m. slow, with the State of the Union address taking up the 9-11 slot.

The great news about CBS is you can watch reruns of NCIS over on CBS All Access. You can also watch episodes live.
