SEAL Team returns in March at a new time
SEAL Team is taking some time off but it will return soon. The show’s socials have confirmed a March return date, but make sure you make note of the time change. It’s still Wednesdays, though!
It’s another Wednesday night without SEAL Team. There’s not even a rerun on because of Big Brother: Celebrity Edition. The next few Wednesdays are taken up with other shows. While it’s disappointing, there is good news that the show will return in March.
The date to get in your diary is Mar. 13. Yes, it’s still a Wednesday, so you can mostly keep your same routine. The downside is that the show is switching to a new time, which could be a blessing in disguise. Instead of the middle slot of the night, SEAL Team is being moved to the 10/9c slot.

Is this the show getting worried about the live viewing figures? I wouldn’t read too much into that. While the ratings have been down from the previous season, that’s common. The show saw a 16% drop in both the audience and demo ratings from the previous season, according to TV Series Finale, but it hasn’t made my concern list just yet.
Despite returning low, the show gained an uptick in future weeks and has remained consistent. It will be interesting to see what the new time slot does.
One thing the new timeslot will mean is fewer weeks off for the likes of Survivor or Amazing Race specials. They usually take up the first two hours, meaning the last timeslot of the night is open for regular programming.
We just have to make sure that all fans get the memo. Not everyone will be tuned into social media — and the teaser for the new episodes didn’t even include the time change. David Boreanaz brought that time change to light in his own tweet about the show’s return date. So make sure all your friends are aware!
I don’t think the SEAL Team social did anything malicious. They just maybe overlooked the time change or thought because they retweeted Boreanaz’s tweet before sharing their own it would be enough. But we know that’s not always the case, so let’s spread the word!
