Thanks to extreme thirst and a ripe environment, it only took four episodes for the uncertain possibility of Temptation Island to turn into reality.

Temptation Island, where dating couples sabotage their chances at long-term success and 12 random people pretend their true pursuits are anything other than reality stardom. Right, right, it’s about love.

There’s a curveball on this episode of Temptation Island. Not only do the tempters and temptresses have to compete with one another, but there are also new competitors. So this is now a mix of Temptation Island and Weakest Link.

Previous odds of success

The most recent odds of success on Temptation Island are as follows:

Karl & Nicole – 63%
John & Kady – 10%
Evan & Kaci – 10%
Javen & Shari – 1%

The girls have their bonfire

Remember, last episode the girls didn’t get to see what their men were doing. Big cliffhanger. Hopefully, it’s because the bomb drops.

Kaci stops saying “like” enough to cry a bit. Kady gets to see John’s video first, and he’s tired of being second-guessed. He’s here to date, and suddenly Kady’s waterworks are turned on. Shocker, she admits to having Daddy issues.

Shari follows, and she gets to see Javen’s mirror with all the lips. Shari is basically meh about it. Next is Nicole’s chance to see Karl, and she admits to a lack of empathy while nearly crying. Finally, Kaci realizes the hammer dropped, and her insecurity is on the forefront.

Trades!

There’s a twist! A new tempter and temptress are brought on the show. The four men and women, respectively, get to dump one of the current 12 for the newbie. Enter Cameron, described as Clark Kent and Jimmy Neutron by the guys, he’s all skinny jeans, glasses, and overconfidence. Roman gets the axe, despite the necklace placed on him by John.

The new lady is Lindsay, who sort of looks like a Weimaraner with dimples and makeup. Her voice is an exaggerated Valley Girl trying to impersonate a Kardashian. Nails on chalkboards, y’all. She appears to know Evan from a previous dating app, but it doesn’t matter because of Morgan. Despite all this, Cathlene is gone because…well, which one is Cathlene again?

Karl & Nicole

Matt goes extra aggressive, and Nicole gets defensive. Tyler takes a wet dump on Matt and makes Nicole think he’s a good guy who sticks up for women. Anyone who’s been on internet message boards knows Tyler’s just white knighting to bump Matt out of position.

The dates for these two are borderline pointless. Nicole chooses Jack because of the poetry, but there are no details of the date. Meanwhile, Karl chooses Jeffri because of her confidence, Beyonce tendencies, and breasts. Karl feels unappreciated but admits to a lack of chemistry with Jeffri.

These two are as rock solid as it gets.

Karl & Nicole – 75%

John & Kady

Wynn is moving in for the kill…he knows Kady is vulnerable.

For dates, Kady goes with Carlos and calls him the most well-rounded guy in the house. It’s pointless flattery for his gullibility, and on the next date, she’ll sell him some beach front property in Kansas.

John picks Tara for his date and goes SCUBA/snorkeling with her. He does not want to talk about Kady.

They’re in trouble.

John & Kady – 9%

Evan & Kaci

Kaci dates Val because he’s funny. They drink a milkshake together Lady-and-Tramp-style, and Val says Evan took a big risk letting Kaci come on the show (disagree, good move by Evan). Big difference for Evan, because he’s on his second date with his new boo Morgan. He says he’s given up on the other girls, calls her “absolute trouble” in confessional, and she replies with a need to be on all future dates.

Later Evan and Morgan are in a hot tub together, and both admit to having feelings for one another. Evan confesses to Morgan she’s “f***ing cute.” A passionate kiss follows, and Kaci is dunzo.

Evan & Kaci – 4%

Javen & Shari

Shari and Javen are free from drama for the episode. Luna, the suavest guy on the show, gets a date with Shari because he’s apparently funny. Also because he doesn’t judge Shari for thinking pineapples grow on trees. Javen takes out – Allie, he enjoys seeing her butt underwater,

Based on Javen’s lack of participation and Shari’s emotional wall, they might be doing better than before.

Javen & Shari – 5%

Post dates at the house

Just after Brittney hits on Javen, causing him to mention her scary, sexual energy, Karl mentions liking Brittney a lot. A bidding war for Brittney may commence.

To spice things up, the 12 temptresses haze the four guys into their sorority. Neither Karl nor Javen will participate. Evan, however, has already broken up with Kaci, and takes a body shot off Morgan. Even worse, John licks peanut butter off of Erica’s upper chest.

Meanwhile, Carlos gets his feelings hurt because he thinks he’s got a connection with Kady, and the feeling is not reciprocated. Wynn grabs her in a piggyback to take her to a pool for one-on-one because she says he’s “alpha” and gives her a “butterfly feeling.” Additionally, Nicole feels awkward because she’s tempted by Tyler, and Tyler chips away at every possible flaw Karl may or may not have based on what she says.

The bonfires are great. Evan doesn’t care about Kaci and Val because of Morgan. Karl sees Tyler trying to exploit Nicole’s doubts, and he gets emotional about how the experience on Temptation Island is affecting his girlfriend. Javen sees multiple guys throwing shade, but he’s confident. John gets to hear Kady tell Wynn that she has butterflies, but acknowledges the boob peanut butter is probably worse.

More importantly, Kaci sees Evan kiss Morgan, tears up, and says, “I’m literally being tortured.” Literally? She’s as wrong about the definition as she is about her man.

Temptation Island airs Tuesday nights on USA.
