Bob Saget thinks Fuller House may continue due to fan outburst
By Sefket Nouri
As we all know, Netflix has canceled Fuller House. The news led to many angry fans demanding the show be renewed. Bob Saget believes it’ll receive another season thanks to fans.
Let’s be honest, we were all shocked when Netflix blindsided all of us with the cancellation of Fuller House. This led to fans launching a campaign called #HowRude to save the family comedy.
Clearly, the campaign is working as we’re now hearing one of the key actors of Full House, Bob Saget, speak out about the cancellation in an interview. Saget is also a recurring guest-star on Fuller House. His comments sound positive for the fans, that’s if the fans continue to be vocal about saving Fuller House.

Saget said the following in an interview to EOnline:
"“Who knows if it’s the last season?” Saget told E! News while promoting his new ABC series Videos After Dark at the TV Crtics’ Association winter press tour. “I don’t know. Fans are rebelling.”“We are SO happy to be coming back for a 5th season AND for 18 episodes! But so sad we have to say farewell. We would love to do this show forever and ever but I guess it wasn’t in the cards,” Candace wrote. “I am happy that we can give the fans a proper ending, however, I wish we didn’t have to give one at all.”"
It’s great news that the cast has been aware of the fan’s outburst. It shows the fans have been loud. Then again, who wouldn’t be aware? Full House and Fuller House have a big fanbase, and the fans have been vocal all over social media such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Don’t stop being vocal.
While I’m glad Fuller House received 18 episodes, I need more seasons. This is just the beginning as Stephanie is now a mother, Jimmy proposed to Stephanie (so expect a wedding), and much more. What worries me is the writers rushing this upcoming season for Stephanie and Jimmy’s wedding. I want it to feel organic.
Continue tweeting! Make your voices heard
Make sure you keep tweeting all the networks @warnerbrostv (Production company for Fuller House), @ABCStudios, @ABCNetwork, @Netflix, @Hulu, @Hulu_support, @Amazon, @PrimeVideo, and @AmazonStudios. You need to make your voices heard and let the networks know how passionate you are about the show and how much you want to save Fuller House. Also, when you’re tweeting, make sure you use the hashtag #HowRudeCampaign.
Most importantly: Do NOT send rude messages! That will NOT help the campaign.
As I wrote in a previous article, the Fuller House fan page and website owner, Mar, added the address for Netflix and all involved companies’ information on the link in a Google Document.
Do you feel cautiously optimistic about Bob Saget’s comments? Let’s not forget, he’s best friends with John Stamos. John is spearheading Fuller House, so let’s hope he and Warner Bros. are shopping the show around to other networks. We need the Tanner-Fuller and Gibblers on our screens. We’re not ready to say goodbye just yet.
Fuller House Seasons 1-4 are available on Netflix. Season 5 doesn’t have a release date yet, but it may come out in the fall.
